Otherwise mythic players are just getting punished for being at the top of the food chain and that makes no sense. 15 wins in mythic is much more impressive than 17 wins in midnight shadow so the rewards should be just as good if not better. So what’s the solution ? IMO it should be that low winrates in mythic/higher ranks should yield better rewards than high winrates in lower ranks. My excitement soon turned to utter disappointment when I realised that my rewards were less than my weekend 1 even though I felt like i performed a lot better. I won 15/25 of my ranked games (kinda expected to have a lower win rate as I was playing against better players) and got: 1 core rare, 2 core epic and 2 DO rare packs. Weekend 2 - I spent the week climbing to to mythic and was excited to see how far I could get. Weekend 1 - I was (naturally) midnight shadow and won 17/25 of my ranked games and got: 2 core rare 1 core epic and 2 DO epic packs. Please, every opinion and idea is welcome! Maybe give an extra expansion pack based on the rank you are just BEFORE the weekend? If it was simple I'm sure it would have been implemented already, but I just don't think things can stay the way they are right now. Make players get much better cards doing average at higher ranks, when compared to doing great at lower levels. Solutions? I'm all ears! My ideas are to reward players for just holding a higher rank all the time, not only on weekends, and/or increase the gap between rewards based on the rank. Am I'm pissed about some losses for guys like Dude? Yes, definitely! But that doens't change the fact that this ranking/rewards system is completly broken, unfair and ineffective, and I'm pretty sure most of the players see that way (but many just join the dark side and start deranking as well). Meanwhile, people playing for 3 weeks or so are struggling to get 12,13 victories and get ONE DO Rare. Anyway, he's getting 2 DO Epics + 2 Epics and will have better cards and end up doing the same shit next week. So, our Dude won 15 of his first 18 games this weekend! Then, when he reached the rank he should be at first place: 2 wins - 4 losses. \"Too bad\" he lost so much rank right before the weekend. ![]() Here's an example (I'm not gonna reveal his nickname, no need to shame on a single guy when this has became a "strategy" used by many.so his name now is "Dude"):ĭude was doing great. Like that, game will end up being pay to win: you either buy better cards or give up on the game after getting crushed by an unfair ranking system. This way, every week, the better decks are getting better and the noobies aren't going anywhere. When the player with more experience and better cards deranks to face newer players that have worse decks, the douchebag not only gets rewarded with better cards but he prevents new players from improving their decks. Seriously, this will hurt the game real bad on the long run.
